I have officially been in medical device sales for 9 months now and wanted to share tips that I’ve learned over the last 9 months that can be helpful to you!

9 Month Reflection Tips

  1. Busy - You’re going to be working a lot! Everyday things come up that you have to deal with (there’s no off days).

  2. Wearing 100 Different Hats - Covering cases, running equipment, calling customer service, putting orders in, host lunches, travel, etc… you’re doing everything.

  3. Everything is Your Fault - You have to take extreme ownership.

  4. Lots of Driving/Travel - I average 3,000-5,000 miles/ per month on my vehicle. You better like windshield time.

  5. Learn Your Sale Style - Understand what your style is and what feels most comfortable for you

Again, these are my personal tips that I felt I’ve learned over the past 9 months. Each person will have a different experience, but for my territory and my experience these are the lessons I have learned and wanted to share with you!

Until next time, Work towards your goals and make them a reality.
